Hi all guys.I´m flying this sim since the first glorious IL2 and I´m quite tired to fly following a figure in a map as if my plane had a gps system integrated.I´d like to dispose of maps to print with their correspondent scale so i can find my own way looking at geographic accidents, my sppeed and time of flying.
I think it could add a lot off emotion to the flights and missions, don´t you?.
That of course would mean a change in the brieffings so they could give you more accurate info about target and their location.
What do you think,realism lovers?
W³uldn´t this be a good implement to the game?

Disable "mini-map" path and "map icons" in your difficulty settings.

Then all you see is a map - you don't even get the white plane icon signifying where your plane is.

Also ... have a dig around on your CD.

You should be able to find a directory with .tga's of the maps (images anyway).

Do you have a printer?
