I have bought AC2 Black Edition and completed the game and was wondering where to start the extra missions. i have been looking all over the net but no one seems to have posted anything about them i was hoping if anyone here could point me in the right direction.

Have you redeemed the code? If yes, look for templar cross icons on the game maps. Turn the other icons off to make it easier.

i have redeemed code and have turned every other icon off but i cant see the templar crosses.

There's one in Florence and two in Venice. Check in the DNA section of the pause menu. Cycle through to 'Secret Locations' and check if you can find the three Templar Lairs ("Home Invasion", "Over Beams, Under Stone" and "Shipwrecked") in that section. If you can see them listed there, then you've already done them without realising.

lol seems i have done them. thank you all for the help. so buying just the game doesn't come with templar lairs does it?

No, to get the extra missions you needed to buy either White edition or Black edition, but only Black gets you all 3 missions.
