View Full Version : Distance icons

I've been experimenting with different rates of convergence. It occured to me that it might help if I knew what unit of measurement is used when I see the distance icon next to the plane! e.g If the plane in front is showing 27, is this 27 metres, 27 yards or something else altogether? I looked in the manual briefly but couldn't see an explanation

1.0= 1K so therefore .50 = 500 meters, .20 is 200 meters etc.

Ah I see! Cheers Bearcat!

Bear in mind that (I think) the vertical aspect of convergence is modelled too. Large convergences will shoot in a higher arc than shorter ones, to allow for the effect of gravity.
