I just wanted to put a suggestion out there. I think Assassins Creed is an exceptionally awesome game, full of artistic excellence.

I think it would be really great to see some people free to design customized content, mods, costumes, tweaks, etc.

Ive been having similar thoughts, as Im sure many others have had.

Im a big fan of this game and it would be great to have a modding commuinity about it.

Im not sure what ubisofts policy is on the assassins creed engine, but legally permitting I would like to try and create some custom content, maybe even a tool for modding assassins creed down the line if no one else does http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I've been having similar thoughts about this, especially since we will be seeing Assassin's Creed 2 coming out for the PC soon.

One of the main questions is, will Ubisoft be kind enough to release an official modding kit so that players can at least have some scripting/level builder tools (an exporter/importer for their model file formats would be a huge bonus as well).

Some utilities always have to be made by community members, but I think AC & ACII modding could become really popular, since both games offer gameplay that very few other games can match.

I'm just a modeler, so I'm hoping not too much of the game's content is 'hardwired'. It really doesn't seem like Ubisoft had modding of these games in mind though, so it probably is. The most I've seen on youtube are reskins.
