I think the tiger moth detail is the best I have seen in the series. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Oleg has answered this in one of the discussion threads, suffice it to say that AA screen shots will come later when more work has been finalized.

I'm not a programmer so I really don't know, but it seems like an awful lot of work still needs to be done on this sim. Unless Oleg is holding his cards very close to his chest, it doesn't seem like a game that is nearing completion. Maybe everything falls into place quickly at this stage of game development? I hope so anyway. It will be hard for me to get very excited about it until there are some actual ingame clips to savor. I'm starting another piggy bank to save for my next upgrade. At this pace, I think I'll have time to fill it up. Twice. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

Very nice. Wouldn't it be a kick if you could carve your initials in the stringers in the cockpit.

It looks really nice. I just have one historoc question Did the Tiger moth see ataul service becaus i was lead to beleave it was just a trainer unless we are going to have a real traning campage with like the Tigermoth and the Bostn taner and then finaly on to the squadron? becaus i ca't see anyother way the Tigermoth can be incoprated.

I don't think Tiger Moths were ever armed. They were used as trainers. I suspect anyone coming into SoW:BoB without previous flight sim experience will appreciate having them available. There have been suggestions that dual control online might be available, which will make even more realistic flight training possible. Anyway, I think SoW:BoB needs a bit of variety, so why not?

It will also enable 1C:Maddox to test their flight modelling with a different type of aircraft. I wouldn't be surprised to discover they have a 'skunk works' somewhere with a supersonic jet or two under development, just to ensure that can be done. Don't expect to see any evidence for this though.

SoW:BoB is also going to have a modern Su-26 aerobatic plane in it. Like the idea or hate it, Oleg apparently likes the plane and wants to include it.

Possibly developed for the reasons I gave earlier. THe Su-26 is a fairly simple design, so the 3-d modelling will probably not have taken that much time away from the WWII stuff.

I'm looking forward to flying the Su-26. At last a plane I can actually do a Lomcevak (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lomcovak) in.

I believe some were equipped with small bombs and used against the u-boats a bit.

He explained it was included as a demonstrator to show the capabilities of the FM engine. Su-26 is an aerobatic plane that can do quite bizarre maneuvers; maneuvers that can't easily be reproduced in a sim game. If BoB/SoW can, then you know how complex the physics engine is.

Besides, it is a modern plane that many active pilots know well, and whose real FM is thoroughly assessed by up-to-date and precise data, so you can compare it to reliable information.

No 4 and 5 Squadrons RAAF used some very early on in the Army co-operation role in New Guinea and some of the Islands.
