Really fed up with the stock maps that are available in QMB. I would like to add Normandy, Slovakia to the list if possible. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Nope, sadly not. Although there are some third party tools out there that yo ucan use to generate QM in a similar way. I have never used any so il have to leave it to someone who has to tell you the best one to use and whats fully possible in them!

Strange, seems like a simple code change. Why have all the new maps and not add them to the quick mission list.

I HIGHLY recommend that you give Mission Mate (http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=8) and The Uber Quick Mission Generator (http://www.uberdemon.com/index2.html) a go.... Both tools are community made utilities that basically fill the gap quite nicely between the FMB and the QMB. The new map will not be on there... not yet at least. I last heard that Damien who created the UQMG has been very bus and I dont know what kind of updates he has done.. but I know that Crazy Schmidt just updated MM to ver. 3.5 not too long ago so even though it does not have the maps from 4.09b1 in it it does have some of the other maps you mentioned... and certainly almost 5x what is in the QMB... I like Mission Mate because the interface reminds me of the QMB.. Both utilities are easy to use.. just take the time to go over the tutorials/help files. These are but two options .. there are others out there.. some legit.. some not so legit... but these two are IMO the best ones available to someone who wants to do more than they can with the QMB within the confines of the current official structure.

It is a little more than just code changes.. the way the mission builder is made all the possible scenarios have to be programmed in.. thats why the UQMG & MM are so big....

It is a simple code change but they only added the Pacific maps into QMB because they knew a lot of people were going to buy the Pacific only version of the sim. In short, only because they had to. They won't add any more because they don't have to.

I have been talking to "CrazySchmidt" and he says that he is currently working on the new maps for "Mission Mate" ( Slovakia, Bessarabia Med. and Possibly Iwa Jima) so expect to see these in the next update for that program.
