I've set-up a simple carrier take-off and landing mission in the FMB, flying a Corsair. The problem that I have is right at the begining of the FMB mission, the plane explodes on the carrier deck immediately upon the mission opening. I've set the -0- waypoint on the carrier as a take-off, but I explode immediately. What do I need to do? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

What I do, is just take an ordinary F4U take-off mission, make it simple, delete oll other planes and ships or add instead other carriers to have more to practise and save it under different name and description. That I have missons with every USN and JIN plane with all available carriers (3 for USN and 2 for JIN), I made it even in different weather.
If you make your own mission remember to have planes and carriers from the same side (red or blue). ONce I did a carriers RED and my plane BLUE and they just strated shooting me before I even started engine http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

In the item box,set your first waypoint to "take off" and place it NEAR the carrier.

Click the button marked "SET" under the word "Target" and the cursor will change (you'll also have a green line connecting the moving cursor to the waypoint)

Click on the carrier you want to take of from.

Basically use the same method to set AI to land on a carrier.
