Seattle- Rob Drake and his pilot intructor, Senior Airman Christy Helgeson, sign the word for "pecfect" in the place he had a solo flight in. Airman Helgeson taught Mr. Drake, who is deaf, how to fly. She is a reservist with the 446th Aircraft maintenance Squadron at nearby by McChord Air Force Base. He is cool!!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I wonder, is he limited to non controlled air space? Also, is he able to speak? If not, then why wear the comm rig? Of course, on your head may be the best place to store it while in flight.
