Hi Guys,

Got some spare money burning a whole in my pocket and Im thinking new video card. Its been a while since I last paid any attention to the video card market, so I dont really know whats good or not so good any more. Im stuck between 2, or if you have any other suggestions they'd be most appreciated. The two cards ive seen are:
256MB FX6600LE-TVD 128BIT 8X AGP TV-OUT+DVI

256MB ATI RADEON 9600 ADV PRO DVI+TV-OUT SAPPHIRE

Cheers Matt

Hi Matt,

There's some things you could try:
- Provide us with more info on your current system, like a Dxdiag Report (http://www.airwarfare.com/guides/luckyboys_guide.htm#012)
- Post this question in the Community Help Forum (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/ubb.x?a=frm&s=400102&f=49310655) (and paste the DxDiag report there)
- Tell us how much money is burning!
- Be a bit more patient? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Have Fun!

Whats your budget? While the 9600XT works great now, its approaching the end of its life, as is the 6600.

So you talking 150-200 dollar price range. IMO you cant beat the ATI X800GTO. And I assume you need a AGP card not a PCIx. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102608

ATi X850XT (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10061200&catid=10524&logon=&langid=EN)

For $330 Canadian dollars it's a price hard to beat!
