Mid Atlantic Air Museum's annual WWII Weekend is fast approaching... June 3, 4, 5 2005. Hope to see some of the faces on here that are close enough and can make it, at least for Saturday's airshow. Hopefully we'll have great weather this year... we're sure due for it for a change.

And if you're brave, and close enough, get in touch with MAAM and sign up as a volunteer. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif Heck I travel 400 miles to be there. We sure can use the help, besides you get in "alla free". http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

Check it out at www.maam.org (http://www.maam.org) - phone number is there too, so give a call ifin ya wants ta and can help out. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Anyway, like I said, I am looking forward to this year and can't wait. Hopefully the weather will be better than last year. We should all meet up at some point.

I'll definitely be there, and it'll be a huge break for me that Sunday, I'll have taken 3 SATII's the day before! Gonna check the list now, I hope GG is there.

PBNA-Boosher, ya gotta get there on Saturday if you can....that's the big show. Sunday is when things are closing down and a lot of the displays are leaving. Most will be gone by early afternoon.

I wish I could GT, I really do, but There's no alternate date for the SAT's that I can take them on. It's a 2 hour drive as it is to get there, but we normally get there first thing in the morning, so I wouldn't say we're missing too much.

Boy, I sure hope for good weather this year!http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v224/wayno77/Airshow6-5-04d.jpg
A lot of umbrellas last year.
And hope I don't have to work Saturday.
GT182, there is another museum not too far from MAAM. The Golden Age Air Museum is about 30 miles away off Exit 15 Grimes off I78 W. See article in Air Classics vol. 41 no.4.

I'm honestly not trying to be funny here, and maybe I'm just being stupid (again). But if so here's a stupid question from a stupid simmer.

Why is it called the Mid Atlantic Air Museum??

From: Stupid.
