As I am on the way to the computer shop to buy myself a couple of 8800GTX (BOB will take a bit longer to come out so, I will be flying IL2FB for some time next year, therefore I do not care about a DX10.1 card). I like the tests and value for money of the 8800GT and 8800GTSver.2 I read but, for the very high resolution I fly (3074x768) the 88000GTX is the best performer...

Anyway, something that may be of interest to people looking to upgrade:

External Power supplies:

Great idea, spares me the time to change the whole cabling of my existing rig!

It has many names, below the German link, I saw a review at Hardware Secrets called "XG Magnum 600 External Power Supply"
http://www.alternate.de/html/product/details.html?artic...51&showTechData=true (http://www.alternate.de/html/product/details.html?articleId=158751&showTechData=true)

Just in case it is of interest to someone...
