The campaign for ruse is in my opinion very good. I like the look of the cut scenes and how detailed they are. The lighting and colors of the uniforms look very worldwar2 period adds atmosphere. How the campaign plays out is well thought out and overall is good. A lot of reviews said it was boring and slow. but thats not true at all it plays at a good pace giving you finally knowledge of all units and how to deploy them.

I also like the way when the camera pans back fully it shows the radio room and the table the actual strategic map the battle is taking place on. Also Ruse works well with move tho at the moment i prefer using the dualshock as you really need the move nav controller to get the full benifit of move.
Using move+dualshock is slightly awkward but at least the option is there. I would prefer keyboard and mouse control and cant understand why game developers continue to ignore this function for the ps3. red alert3 was the same but that was pretty unplayable with the pad. Overall Ruse is a job well done.
i also think uplay is a good idea and the beta for it is set out well. Players who like ruse may also like IL2 sturmikov the best available flight sim on console too date.

There is still plenty to tell on ww2. I would like to see German blitzkrieg campaign in to the hart of USSR or Russian 'Road to Berlin'. What do you think?

Nice post Killer-ST, and great to hear you're an IL-2:BoP fan - deffo the best flight-sim style game this gen on PS3 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Totally agree on all of this, found the campaign very enjoyable, and have no doubt I'll go back and replay the missions to do all the objectives down the track, once my addiction to the online wears off http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. Also agree that the reviewers who said it were slow and boring were _way_ off the mark - it sounds like they just weren't into strategy.

Would most definitely pick up expansion packs or sequels looking at other areas of WW2, or other conflicts http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Hi yes it can be slightly anoying later in the game were it feels like the game is still holding the players hand. But the cutscenes and intro to the battle map scenes or operation details can be cut just by pressing start 3times slowly for cutscene/introscene/operation scene. if you are replaying a mission at leat you can skip by pressing start on the ps3 version. And you had to have some operation scenes as parts of the battles had to be scripted to tell the story. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
