.............gimme a bump if you would like to see more bomb types modelled for the Germans in FB.

SC1000 2,000lb High explosive
SD1500 3,000lb Fragmentation
PC1700 (1,706 Kg armor-piercing "Marat buster"!)

tons more were made AND used in WWII.

The Stuka can carry 1800 kilos of bombs, why settle for 500k being the heaviest weapon?

C'mon Oleg! Bring down the thunder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BOOM I mean bump

"Of all my accomplishments I may have achieved during the war, I am proudest of the fact that I never lost a wingman. It was my view that no kill was worth the life of a wingman. . . . Pilots in my unit who lost wingmen on this basis were prohibited from leading a [section]. They were made to fly as wingman, instead."
Erich 'Bubi' Hartmann "Karaya One"

Agreed.

Butch2K already has forwarded the list of all loadouts for all Luftwaffe fighters, fighter-bomber & bombers for FB. They were not addressed in 1.1b as I believe Oleg wanted to fix known bugs & tweak FMs in the first place. Butch2K confirmed that the new loadouts (ie. bigger bombs & others) will be added in a later patch or add-on for FB.

I am particularly looking forward to the panzerblitz on the Fw 190F-8.

Cheers

Bavaria is one of the oldest European states.
It dates back to about 500 A.D., when the Roman Empire was overcome by the onslaught of Germanic tribes. According to a widespread theory, the Bavarian tribe had descended from the Romans who remained in the country, the original Celtic population and the Germanic invaders.

I agree.. though the bomb explosions needs some serious working imo.. like P-47 bombs.. 1000 lbs and 500lbs bombs have the same impact radius (Why?) and look exactly the same.. and I can barely see the difference between SC250 and SC500 too. It would not be fun to see the SC1000 explode like SC50s /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif I want BIG booms.. and a lound explosion /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif and some dust flying from the impact if possible /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif I think it would be possible to make so in FB:.

At the start of WW2 the German army lacked experienced anti-aircraft gunners. The average gunner was so bad that the USSR decided to help them out. They did it by forcing some of their pilots to fly I-153 flak magnets. These planes were slow but very sturdy. This allowed German anti-aircraft gunners to get a large amount of target practice on a relatively small number of planes. Thanks to the Soviets help, by the end of the war the German anti-aircraft gunners were amoung the best in the world.

The issue of 1700 kilo bombs being used by Ju87s has been addressed before, I think.

Apparently this would requite an entirely new 3d object model for the Ju87 modified to carry it - redesigned mountings and no rear gunner position.

But yeah, some of the loadouts are, as it stands, quite poor. The He 111-H2 especially.

I dunno, I amybe wrong, the Ju87 didn't had gunners cockpits. IIRC Rudel had a rear gunner, in the mission against Marat.Hauptmann Steen , his leaer had(his name was Lehman or somethig)

HAL, correct me if I'm right , but this thread was about GERMAN bombs.
Those bombs you refer were carried by Lancasters, AFAIK, so what's the deal with them on the Eastern Front?
