View Full Version : Books on plane specs

OK, I'm the newest newbie at the time of this post. I bought the combo pack of IL2/PF/LockON this week. I loaded up IL2 first then patched it. Then I loaded up PF and patched it up to 4.04.

Then the addiction started. I was up all night almost shooting down Zero's ... and getting shot down. :-)

PF is a freakin' blast.

Now, I'm a book guy so does anybody know of any good books that cover ALL WWII fighters from all countries that have good specs on climb rates, speed, ceiling, armaments, etc. ??

I'm sure there's places on the web with this info but I like books ... or did I say that already?

I know there's Janes books and others but i wanted to see if there was some more obscure titles worth looking into?

Can't help ya with any specific titles though...
(Trouble here is allways 'good specs' http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif)

There are loads of good books and sites around, but one book in particular I will mention is Jane's fighting aircraft of World War II.
As it comes to specs related to the sim I will recommand Hardball's Aircraft viewer (http://war.by-airforce.com/downloads/HardBall%27s_Aircraft_Viewer_4_06+.zip)<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
