Sh*ttiest salute I've ever seen in my life.

There's no way that fatty meets weight standards either.

That is the problem when you get these Hollywood types who never served. They really don't know the first thing about the military, including how to properly salute. His entire arm down to the tips of his fingers should be in a perfectly straight line. He does, however, have his thumb tucked under his hand which he was probably told to do five seconds before this photo was taken.
This is, in their minds, their opportunity to "serve their country" and look all great and heroic on the silver screen. They would never have the guts to do it for real. It is not at all the same as it used to be with Hollywood stars of yesteryear who became famous AFTER they served. I had a great link showing how many movie stars from years ago were veterans. The list was quite extensive. That list is very short or even nonexistent today but they are glorified as "war heroes", get paid millions, and never did a d@mn thing for freedom. These kinds of things really light a fire under my rear end. They should take some of their money and give it to veterans organizations where it can be put to good use. There are some exceptions in the Hollywood community I must take time to note. Denzel Washington, although not a veteran, gave a couple million dollars to help with returning veterans and their families with a place (a large building) for them to stay to visit them while demobilizing. It was in Texas I believe. There are some generous movie stars but most of them are greedy glory seekers.

GAH! Wardrobe couldn't even get it right. That is an ARMY BDU cap. NOT a USMC utility cover. My wife asked if I wanted to watch that movie with her. Bless her, she immediately pick up on the pained look on my face, and said, maybe something else.
