Joystick?

This isn't IL2 you know. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Mouse and keyboard are the things you need.

Question: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/hauitsme/scratchchin.gif
In addition to mouse+keyboard, is it possible to use another 'control device'?
Which ones? How many more?

ie - Flight yoke as dive/steering control + buttons

Multiplayer with 1 machine.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v325/hauitsme/wink.gif
Can come in handy.

You're the captain of a boat, not the pilot of an aircraft. You give orders and your junior officers get your helmsman, ballast guys, chief engineer and dive-plane operators to make the actual things happen. You can click on the telegraph with your mouse and the guys will shout out the new speed, then a few seconds later they 'make it so'.

The best interface so far is using a voice recognition program like Shoot 1.6.4 with a suitable profile, so that you just give your commands by voice and the officers reply when it's done. Much more immersive and realistic than a joystick.

MaxBruder forget what these liars are telling you

You will need a joystick preferably one with a yoke stick and flap control as well as force feedback throttle and seperate altitude control

I'm not sure how long it will be before something like this will make it to the gaming market, but I would guess it would one day. Maybe.

only amateurs use the keyboard http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif
voice reco is where its at
with my wireless headset i can give my orders up to 500 meters away, although my shed(garage) is only a few yards from the pc,,but you get the picture,,instead of sitting in front of my screen allday waiting for some action,i can wander off and fiddle about with my other toys talk to the wife ,cook food and still issue most orders vocally,i only need to return to the con when the action is imminent, too easy!
Ta!
