View Full Version : What about an iL2 LAN party

The thread about Pay-to-Win got me thinking... What about an organized event where every participent come in with his own PC and compete with others... over LAN... no lag there...

And to make thing even more transparent every one could be require to have a fresh windows install... and on the day of the competion the only thing you can do is install your drivers and profile that you need to get your rig running...

Well this is by no means an invitation to setup such an event but just a way to find out if there would be interest for such a thing...

Could be done during an airshow... if there is enough support for it... think of it all setup in a hangar with a couple of widescreen LCD's showing of the fights to all...

I know that if this was done in Montreal I could set it up through some of my contacts and I could lend my hometheatre CRT and screen for the show (give an HD quality picture up to 30 feet across http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif)
