View Full Version : Is FB+AEP+PF pretty much only good for offline?

I just bought FB+AEP+PF, I know, what took me so long. I've never seen it in a store here on the west coast of Canada till today, so I grabbed it. Other than practicing and getting accustomed to it I've not seen anything available in the way of online, similar to Air Warrior or Aces High (??) So far all I've found is folks with private servers running 8 or 10 players. Is that all the game can support or is the interest for an online MMP arena gone down the tube and none are available?
I'm sure I can amuse myself offline but an arena with several hundred players would be more preferable http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Download HyperLobby.

Although its a bit sparse right now with maybe 300 or so players on at a time its still pretty bustling. At the height of the last winter we were seeing 900 or more people playing at one time.

For a game of this sort of niche market, thats impressive. Its a small but very tight online community and there are plentiful servers to fly on.

Hit the Sturmovik Essentials thread in my sig. If you do nothing else visit Airwarfare.com, download Uberdemon's software, Vac and IL2 Manager. The whole linkis full of good info though.... and Airwarfare.com is a one stop sim shop.... all user made stuff... that is great. You were smart to get the full versin now. You wont be sorry.

Wow... thanx for the help guys. I downloaded Hyperlobby and will be looking to using it here in the next day or two.

Your link to the essentials is incredible Bearcat. Looks like I'll be doing more reading than flying LOL.
Thanx again!!! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
