EDIT 11/11/08:
So it took me longer than I wanted, got very busy at work, but I have new and revised shirts. Take a look.

http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo348/redhornet2008/FighterShirt_ME109.jpg

I decided to make the roundels smaller so they wouldn't compete with the planes. I'm at the stage now where I'm going to start testing different inks on different fabrics to see which combination looks best. Each shirt will be silk screen printed, by hand, by me.

I have a great Corsair T that shows the simple black and white aircraft I.D. 3-views, printed front and back. It's definitely the coolest warbird T I've seen, as most look really corny.

I've seen P-51 T-shirts that may as well be a picture of a wizard or a unicorn.

In other words, keep it simple.*

*IMO.

You may be able to use those elements somehow, but hopefully not that actual layout. The scale and placement...not so good.

IMO.

Put the star on the backside and add a cool Corsair-title (preferrably in red with a yellow shadow) below the a/c.

You might wanna list all the Corsair-squadrons overlaying (in black) the star-insignia.

The star should be as big as the a/c.

Just my 2c.

The images are way too large for my liking. I'd make them a whole lot smaller and off to one side like a lot of company logos appear on polo shirts.

If you must have a Corsair - I'd second the text on the back idea.

Further to a mention elsewhere on the forum does anyone know if there is a t shirt with the Il2 Sturmovik sim logo or similar available. If the simmers wore these outdoors you could learn who flies near you. As long as the design doesnt say Nerd or Geek which none of us are I hope. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
Who knows. That guy or gal you stand next to waiting for the train or bus may be a simmer too.

I'll buy one from if you use 100% cotton and can do a 3 or 4XL-as long as it's priced like most are. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Well there are supposed to have been 4 designs, the American and the Russian one seem to be missing. Maybe they are still in production or something.

Esel1964, you and I seem to be the only ones who like that shirt!

For the rest of you: Wow, tough crowd. Let me explain: I didn't want to do a t-shirt because that's what I've seen used a bajillion times, hence the polo. I tried using lots of different stuff in various combinations like the identification sillouhettes, text (engine specs, armament, squadrons, etc.), navy pilots wings, kill markings and other things, but it just turned out looking cluttered and cheesey. I didn't want to make the roundel and plane small and on the left breast because that looked like a boring run of the mill corporate shirt. I want a shirt that is bold and dynamic yet still simple and effective, just like a good fighter.

I do have more I'm going to show you guys later... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

Apart from LFs wonderful design, I wouldn't mind one with the original IL2-logo

I can't remember if that was the name of the company I bought it from. From the looks of things they very well may be.
