Biggest difference is in fps. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif To run water 3 you must have good PC. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Of course water 0 should be the worst water 3 the best. Soo... somehow I think that you have know thie already. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

While 0 and 1 are fairly good to the system, water 2 is causing 'strike' on fps, IMO without good 'explanation' since water 1 ain't much worse. In fact many will say that water=1 looks better than 2.

As your rendered in IL-2 FB settings choose OpenGL, under conf.ini find line (under [OpenGL] section) water=2. Change it in 3 and run FB.
conf.ini is file in IL-2 Forgotten Battles directory. You should easily find it.

When in game choose "Perfect" landscape settings (and max. everything else out, Distance Visibility, etc.) under video options

It should be either 0,1 for ATI cards
or 0,1,3 for Nvidia

Consider this also.
