Where are the guns? and why don't they show it with its gear retracted? Maybe they can port it into KOTS too. And who spells it Tygermoth? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Anyway, very nice looking model http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

I hope you were joking but if not, the trainer had no guns and fixed gear.

I suppose the online training thing might be fun for a few minutes. I don't see many people being that patient trying to learn to fly a computer game.

Nice! Can't wait to do a one-on-one against a '109 or Stuka! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Actually I think it will be great. How many times have you tried to get a friend into the game but it's a pain standing over thier shoulder saying "ok, now pull up some, no not that much, level out, no the other way...no, watch out!", lol. This will be more likely to get others involved.

Of course it was all said tongue-in-cheek. I'm well-familiar with the Tigermoth.

While I'm interested in whatever Oleg decides to show us, I'm MORE interested in things like damage modeling, in-cockpit views and other intrinsic changes as opposed to what we've gotten used to in the IL2 series. Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, rather excited about the potential.

Looks great & fun to fly I bet.

Makes me chuckle that Oleg is a junior member on the 1C site

i wonder if they are planning on including advanced trainers like the Miles Master and the Harvard I (American AT-6 Texan).. that would be nice too.

The Tigermoth is the aircraft my father went solo in during his flight training so I for one will be glad to fly it.

It looks a very detailed model! SoW:BoB is definatly going to need a new compter!

I prefer unconditional surrender to flying a Tiger Moth.

Questions..

1) will the trainer have duel controls that the instructer can take over when the trainee f-s up?

2) can the instructor bail out if he has to? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Oleg answered number 1 on that very same post http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I like the fact people around the airbase will probable be animated. That way I can scare the **** out of the on-line instructer pilots and the base civilians at the same time! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Having an animated ground crew would make for a huge immersion factor. I know Oleg has mentioned they are working on the human skeletal form. Hopefully they will have time to flesh it out. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

actually ...flying for me isn't all about fighting....and I enjoy pottering around in a TigerMoth...examining the new maps...

a bit like the way I enjoy 'blub...blub...blubing' slowly around the countryside on a V-Twin chopper http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

BTW...I almost spilled my coffee over the remark about the instructor bailing... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif
