Here are some good links for info on Vista.
The Vista product user guide is 300+ pages is great and a big help, and beats paying the $40.00 (and up) for some of the retail guides.
I hope this is a help for all the Vista users, and those considering the move.

While it's always nice to see a new OS come out, Vista is really not ready for prime time.

Especially for gamers. I'll wait a year for it to mature and then give it a shot when some actual DX10 games come out.

well - i have XP on my rig but was obligated to get Vista two weeks later when I had one built for my son...so far he has had no problems.

He runs WOW primarily with some Doom3 and one or two other progies and as more drivers come online it just gets better and better.

I would love to load FSX on it and see whats what, but he lives across town and I can't see taking up that much space on his H/D....neither can he I am sure...lol he is not a flight sim fan.
