View Full Version : Shooting at ghosts in trk?

The movie makers forum seems to be for making movies so i thought i would ask here. I get done running a mission ( which ends in the ground of course ) and i saved the track. When i view the track i am shooting at nothing but in the game i know i had a target and flamed him. Is this a common occurance or do i have a problem?

Also as an aside , while checking another trak an ijn plane is shot up and the pilot bails but the plane flies on in circles until the track ends? No gain or loss of altitude no rudder , right elevator , right wingtip , and right aileron gone and no pilot! Wierd huh

Well the answer's simple really.....

Your flight sim's haunted.
That'll be 25 bucks. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Answer is easy. U used time acceleration during the mission. trk got some problems with that.
It will get out of synchronization.
Use ntrk instead. You need to map a key for it in Quick recording control.

Thanks i guess that's the problem , i wanted it to be haunted but oh well.

Bummer on this because recording during play messes up my fps and gives stutters. No joy in mudville i guess.

Thanks for the response!!

Hey Flyer, The only time I noticed what you described was when I tried to play tracks back that were made with a previous version of the sim, after I installed a newer version of PF.

When I played using the 3.02 PFnew.exe and recorded a track, it would playback fine as long as I loaded up the PFnew.exe to play it. If I used the regular PF.exe to playback everything was out of sync. Same with recording using the regular .exe and trying to play it in the new.exe.

Don't know if any of this applies to you, but hope this helps. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
