Just got the game, Its an awesome game but i'am having a few problems.

1. Every time I start on a plane carrier I can't fly. I start the engine, fix the flaps and then I put the power on 100% but it still won't fly. How do I fix this?

2. On a few planes the aim/crosshair is a little bit to the right or to the left most often to the right. How do I move the screen with the aim/crosshair.

3. Sometimes the plane is all weird when I take off. So when I turn to the right the plane the plane flies to the right and stops their. The never flies straight it's always turning somewhere, so if I let go of the controls the plane just goes crazy and crashes or turns. How do I fix this?

Chocks are on.Set a key for it in controls.

Shift+F1

Could be many things.Stick settings and such but probably normal behaviour due to tourqe, trim settings and such.Check stick in hardware setup to see if it works ok.If so add some trim whilst flying until you almost can fly hands off,but that will change during speed so you will have to trim a bit during a flight?

Don't forget to read Bearcat's Nugget's Guide to Getting Off The Ground:

A lot of info but very useful.

Jackderips2009, slicksticks reaction is due to the nature of some of the truly 1st class trolls and jackarses around here as you will see when you spend some time here...

SlickStick, even though your reaction is based on your Ubizoo experience, that was a little over the line, try to pretend to be nice, k?

I have noticed that when you just anhswer their questions they move on... either to new questions or new revelations about the sim... those are old hat too... to the people who have been here for 6+ years... but for a new person IMO it is always better to give them the benefit of the doubt... You being a longstanding member of thios community shopuld know that we have only first class trolls here.. so ti si mopre likely that an age old question is legit...

It is not hard to be helpful... and it is only a Zoo when behavior like yours in this thread is carried out... Otherwise it is not a bad place and quite the opposite very helpful.

Nothing wrong with it, he is making common mistakes when tpying too fast.

I do the same thing all the time.

Its a sign of trying to make your fingers keep up with your brain as you type.

Isnt the purpose of this forum to be able to ask questions? There is a fantastic amount of content on this forum and for somebody really new they might not know where to look.As far as trolling if the OP's follow up were a rant as to what was wrong with the offset sight, Oleg porked the tire chalks or some other nonsence the troll comment would have merit.
For the OP, if your still listening, you need to program arrestor hook, wing fold plus open canopy and raise seat helps. When you run up you engine make sure you have full power, 100% prop pitch, take off flaps and lock your tail wheel. When the tail comes up and you start to fly use rudder rather than aileron to correct your roll.Keep your fuel and ordanance to a minimum untill you get the hang of it.Mostly, make sure to read Bearcats Nuggets guide and have fun!

I'm sure you have so many friends in real life that you don't know what to do with them. You are the perfect example of a guy who thinks his post count is his johnsons length.

1. Nobody reads stickies, not even the experienced forum dwellers who know they should.
2. You can't blame the OP for being articulate.
3. You're cynical http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yeah, sure thing. Now, all you need to do is learn to read the blatantly obvious on a forum and you'll be fine in the future. Best of luck with that. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

4. and walking a bit too close to the line on that comment. If you think something's suspect, contact a moderator. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

Edit: Now I've read the rest of the thread I see that SlickStick has been quite the mod-magnet today http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Where are those good old days when forum members and moderators said Hi, Hello, Welcome Here to new visitors?

We already reached the level where a grumpy SS starts talking about his big mama's philosophy.

A troll would have included how bad IL2 sucks, etc, or some kind of attack wouldn't it?

All I got from the OP was that he's new and doesn't check threads first which is about normal anyway.
A link to the Nugget's Guide or thread should be more than good.

Another thing is to give him a link to Joint Ops Online Flight School (http://www.joint-ops.com/).

FNG (means New Guy), that online school will get you in good shape toot sweet. It's so good there's a waiting list!
