I know I know, the next patch is around the corner, but hey, I like doing tests. Not all the time, but sometimes. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

The climbs were made using IAS, as that is what a pilot in real life would use. Higher climb rates can be attained using TAS, but mostly at the lower alts, it's also an erroneous testing method.

These charts are not as accurate as those made by Tagert and Faustnik, but they give a good general idea.

Nice charts and very good work. I knew that Ta-152 has too good climb rate but dont know that as much. 23 m/s near ground instead 17 m/s ???

I wonder that if it is possible to make accurate climb rates for some planes like P51, Fw190 why it cant be done with others???

Thanks Kwiatos! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Btw, 17m/sec is without MW50. Still 22.7m/sec is high, but maybe not for 2.03 ata.

In my suorce:

Ta 152 H-1

climb rate at ground - 14.2 m/s , 17.5 m/s (MW50)

climb time -10000m - 13.3 min , 11,7 min (MW50)

I have the same numbers in Wolfgang Wagners book on Kurt Tank. But in Dietmar Hermanns book on the Ta 152, it says(IIRC) that the Ta 152H-0 was capable of 20m/sec climbrates. And the H-0 didn't have MW50.
