Just got a an email from Gogamer.com offering the X52 Pro for $99.00 USD. That's around HALF PRICE, folks. The offer is good for another 38 hours as I write this.

I'm not in the market myself (loyal & happy CH customer), but it sounds like a hell of good deal for those of you who are looking to upgrade to a nice HOTAS system.

Shoot, that is about all it is worth, $99. I paid $120 for mine @ CompUSA last year. Are they really that much these days? Geesh!

You found a Pro at CUSA? I am surprised.. I have never seen one in a retail store here in Va.

I think its not a bad price.
Thanks Horseback - I might do that.

I think that Boxing day sales are the way to go though. Last year I bought an X-52 locally for $79. The other day in a store locally I saw it for $155.

Bro, I believe you bought the X52 for about 120 bucks, not the X52Pro. CompUsa does not carry
the Pro.

Oh neat, I'll never have to clean the pots on my X-52 as it uses Hall sensors, not pots!
Nothing to rub, wear or get dirt between contacts. Only thing better might be optical.

This is a great deal, and I must commend Go-Gamer for some of the fantastic deals they offer. I dont usually accept e-mail ad spam but I subscribe to GG for the great prices. Try it you will see what I mean, and if you dont like it you can always unsubscribe.

WV </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Yeppers, it wasn't a Pro. What I meant to convey was the Pro costing so much more than the regular & what does it have to offer to garner such an increase or difference in price?

I am still using my X-52, but I snapped this offer up.

Now I am truly a member of the hardcores, with an unopened joystick new-in-box sitting in the closet, as backup http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Come December you'll find them even cheaper.

Is Saitek getting out of the HOTAS business or something like that, Max? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

They have some new stuff coming down the pike to give CH more of a run for their money. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Stupid question really but is the X52 pro a force feedback stick?

I wonder if Saitek is coming out with a new one or something?

I have the x45, and the 52 seems just more gagets, not more value (though I am tempted)

Thanks for the tip
