Well he's Ezio first of all http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

It's old & the foundation is crumbly . .

And diving from Viewpoints into a haystack on hard ground is impossible to survive too -

But why does it have to be realistic?
I keep seeing this demand being made but alot of stuff in AC isn't realistic.

Well I'll answer him if he explains how Tom Cruise does what he does in Mission Impossible.

No offence intended, Mr_Shade, but he violated the terms of use, made a completely unthoughtful and non-constructive post, put no time and no effort into it. It was not trolling; I do not troll any more.

What does he expect?

Trolling someone who breaks the rules is still trolling..

Trolling is not limited to text, it's also posting meme images or lmgify - just so your aware.

The more pressing question is what in the world is the purpose of kicking a statue off the roof of the castle to open the way to the underground rooms? Ezio doesn't even see Alta´r do it, he just gets up there and magically knows he should kick the statue off the roof. And just to prove his magical awesomeness, Ezio then jumps down immediately after the statue before it even lands! He doesn't even wait and make sure there would be something soft to land on after it hit the ground. Somehow he knows there will be a pool of water waiting for him to land in. The whole sequence is obviously supposed to just look cool and give us an excuse for climbing the castle, but it was so nonsensical that it lost all effect and came off as weird.

It's only a game. Not everything has to be realistic.

There was a woman who was skydiving but her parachute didn't work and she fell from 22,000 feet into a cart full of tomatoes and survived. There was also a man in WWI who jumped from his aeroplane but forgot hisparachute and survived; although he did suffer major injuries.

Two Words:

Mission Impossible.

By this token, nobody should ever watch a movie that isn't a biography or documentary.

I know it should not be taken as 100% canon, but the novel states that he spent a long time before he left Rome studying maps and diagrams of Masyaf Castle until he knew it by heart - at the top of the castle he approximated the area which was covering the water. The reason he dived straight after it without waiting was that he only had a tiny gap of time before the Templars would have been made aware of the statue crashing down, and he would have been outnumbered again - It was the only way to remain relatively undetected.

I thought that whole part when he dives into the water was one of the most epic parts of ACR lol. What did annoy was the way the stature fell. I'm very picky on little things haha. But it's w.e.
