There was a thread awhile ago that spoke of the interest in a WWI sim. I'm sure this one was mentioned, but I just stumbled across it and thought it might be of interest.

Looks pretty good generally, although the Camel looks naff!

I'd never join a club that would have ME as a member!!.

I'd personally still like to see 1:C do one, but in the meantime this should be a nice upgrade from Red Baron II from sierra which is the best one I've got right now.

Aahhhh...
To once again soar through the sky in a tiger-striped Albatross D.III, wasting Pups and Nieuports left, right and centre... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

To once again do the "below and behind" on Dehavilland DH4's in a Fokker D.VII, after playing a bit of "can't touch this" with the SE5-escorts... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

To once again laugh at the "Spinning Incinerators" as I fly circles around them in an Albatross D.II... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Yeah; I fly german only in WW1; never liked any of the Allied crates, though the SE5 would have been a great plane if only it'd had the side-by-side MG set-up -standard on german planes from the Albatross forward-, and not that ridiculous "over-wing" mounted Lewis; could'nt hit a barn from 7 yards away with that...

*Sigh*; so long to wait... /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

I am an Arado whiner. And proud of it.

Not my site. But a good place to start if you want to join the Arado-whining. The Arado needs *you* today!

Don't worry too much about that Camel. I think it's really a Sopwith Pup. That's why the narrow cowling. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
