I love AC games, I don't mind the few tearing, the lack of polygons on characters, some framerate drops and everything. The graphics as a whole is just great!! But what I can't stand is that stupid choice of gamma colours for the cities. Florence is always brown. Even the Dome, that in reality has green marble inserts on it. Monteriggioni looks always green (and cloudy?). What Venice will be? Beige? I didn't reach it yet. Ok for Florence. Maybe it has a brownish look. But why GREEN? It was the same in AC: each city had a predominant colour! I hoped Ubi could do like Naughty Dogs, that on this side got the complains and made it a more colourful, realistic experience. Unless it's a problem with performances. But please, with the green colours I feel like going back to the old VT100 terminals.

Dude ... You haven't played AC2 a lot... If you upgrade your villa, you'll see it will be prettier and if you stay in Florence you'll see that the light etc changes which give Florence another gamma... And Venice is in ALL colours that you can imagine http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Well, I sure hope so for Venice (I'm Venetian, so I can tell you if it will look realistic! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif). If it won't I'll be pretty... UMPH! Anyway, gamma apart, I have been in Florence a couple of times and I must say the job Ubi did is just amazing. Looking forward for roof jumping Venezia!

Yeah, the Villa is pretty dreary in the beginning, weather/colorwise. But as you invest more into renovating it, I've noticed it cheers up a lot. My renovations are finished and it's actually bright during the day. I thought that transition was a nice touch.

Your villa is like one of the more colorful places.

It was a gameplay choice they made to have it look nicer and nicer and brighter and more colorful as you invest in it.

Venice has kind of a blue gamma to it.

Yup. I'm there now and it is a little bluish. Still I can confirm that it REALLY looks like being in Venice (a little bit smaller maybe. But I just opened the first map). So no complaints. Great job!!

About Monteriggioni, yeah. I see that it seems like changing. I didn't go back there during nightime, tho. Still on day time it has a different feeling. But at the beginning the whole town was just.. GREEN!!

Yeah, their color correction settings for each city is a bit static. Why not make it dynamic? I never understood their choice to make each one color and leave it at that.
