more tea vicar?

-anyway, american HVAR's would be cool as a loadout for mustangs and jugs (if indeed, jugs had HVARS) and napalm would be cool too, it was used in the pacific theatre by corsairs and such, so it would fit well with snowpipes corsair mdel in the works, and to a small extent it was used by B17's in the europe theatre..and by mustangs in korea /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

hows about it...am i spouting madness...again?

It`s madness yes it will never happen.
You start off with

Mustangs,Napalm.HVAR`s.then you have to have:

late Lavochin`s,
Yaks,
IL-10`s,
Corsair`s ,Skyraiders,Panthers,Skyknights,Tigercats
MiG-15`s,
Shooting Stars,Thunderjets,Sabre`s
Meteor`s,Seafuries
please fill free to add any i have missed.

A Korean conflict addon would be the ultimate mix of high performance piston engine aircraft and early jet fighters only thing missing in FB would be aircraft carriers (not something possible AFAIK)...this lot im sure would be an enormous amount of work on the scale of FB itself(am i exagerating)

keep Wishing ,I will.

PLEASE MR MADDOX

You do know we have a similar weapon now,
IL2's can carry the VAP 250, it's napalm like,
but is released more than dropped. But with
similar effect.
Rx
That gives me an idea for a mission, see you later.

HVARS important...Napalm I think was used as well but I know virtually nothing about its deployment.

Q: When and where was Napalm first used?

A: The first use of napalm occurred on July 23, 1944 during pre-invasion air strikes on the island of Tinian, part of the Marianas island chain in the Pacific.

bit late in the war, and probly dropped by Corsairs

AJ-2 Ampoules 250 kg napalm Common and soft targets 216 x Ampoule with "Lightning Mix"

VAP-250 250 kg phosphorus Airfields, common purpose. 2 x Petrol mixed with balls of phosphorus, sprayed from an altitude of 15-25 m. Ground objects in the target area are engulfed in flame. Fuel Air Explosives.

I'm trying to find out when these were available in RL.
But looks like it was pretty early.

I read a quote from Oleg, somewhere in ORR that because of the fillet on the tail, the P-51 could be reguarded as a D10. So it`s still possible to fit HVAR`s to the current Mustang.(Maybe)

AFAIK, the P-61 Black widow was used as a night attack plane during the battles after the Invasion(06.06.1944). The germans could not effectively supply their troops during daylight, facing great losses from allied strike aircraft, thus their supply columns moved in the night. The P-61 mission was to attack those suppy units. the radar on the aircraft was used to find the target, followed by visual aiming and attack. The convoys were first bombed with napalm in order to stop movement, then remaining targets were finished by either attack with rockets or more largely used-strafing from the 4*20mm cannons and 4*.50cal machineguns

Some things are worth fighting for...
And most of them wear mini skirts.
