Great movie!! But it was a HBO movie several years ago. Odd thats it on pay-per-view. Im sure that you could find it at walmart. Along with the Band of Brothers series which was also freaking excellent/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Excellent film although a lot of what was in the movie was a conglomeration of facts. Many of the characters were composites of several Airmen. Still it was good to see those Redtails on film. The battle scenes were good. You can probably find it for anywhere from $9.99 to $19.99 depending on where you go. I found BoB for $9.99 and I had to get it...still a classic. It was nice tio see the story told but i would like to see it told again..under the technology of today.

No doubt.... it's a story that needs to be told right. There were so many characters...... The Gruesome Twosome of Lee Archer & Wendell Pruitt. Alfonso Davis, Charlie Hall.. Someone will do it agin...after the BoB film comes out..... you know Hollywood works in waves if something is successfull.

Good movie, not entirely accurate, but fight scenes are good, overall theme gives a good idea of the BS to be had at the time by good number of minorities.

Good acting I thought. I love the scene when the rookie doesnt think the instructor has the experience to teach dogfighting! Yes, can you say "sit down and have a nice warm cup of stfu?"
I dont think they'd let Eleanor fly without goggles and suit tho./i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
A number of big name actors helped deliver it too.

overall, doggie gives it two thumbs up.See it if you can.

Still looking for a copy of BoB.
