View Full Version : Calling all Aussies: Regarding "The Last Days " addon

Does anybody in country have a copy of the above? If so how did you go about purchasing it? I am weary about paying for things on line & so are there any other ways of paying for it.
I only have 56k dial up & they have stated a download of the size would take 24hrs plus.
Help from any source, will be appreciated

Hi there, dasriech

Would have replied immediately but have just got back home after a short stay in 'krankenhaus'.

I have just changed from dial-up to cable broadband so can download super-quick now. If the download is available free of charge, can do it one night soon, burn to CD-ROM and mail anywhere in good old OZ.

(you will need to supply the link)

If this suggestion is helpful, please reply here or PM me anytime.

Best regards,

There is an option when you order to get a cd instead of a download, that's what I did, and I received my cd about 2-3 weeks later, and of course it costs more (because of the cd and shipping)
You'd better have a good system to play TLD cause there are many many planes in most missions.....

Hi micksaf
I run a gig of ram & a nvidea fx 5700le 256, is that sufficent or do you think more ram is required? Do you get much stuttering with your system when you run the sim & how did you pay for it & how much did it cost overall?

Is TLD any good?

Bought it some time ago, cost me around 30 euros, paid it with my credit card, and I remember the option to get a cd was not clear at all....
My rig is P IV 2,66 Ghz, 4200Ti with 128Mo, 1Gig ram and yes I get stutter and sometimes even freezes cause there are so many many planes in the air at the same time, like it was in real life, and that's what makes this add-on so immersive...!!

Just been to their site, choose option "physical shipment" to get a cd, price 22,99 euros, and be patient...!!
The cd comes with a code that you have to use in order to activate the game (to prevent copies I suppose)

Not an Aussie but, I think TLD is worth the money.

I bought hard copies online and the disc was in my hands within a week.

I got mine here. http://www.digitalriver.com/dr/v2/ec_MAIN.Entry16?SP=10...0&ABCODE=&CACHE_ID=0 (http://www.digitalriver.com/dr/v2/ec_MAIN.Entry16?SP=10024&PN=29&xid=45905&V1=31034044&V2=31034044&V3=1&V4=38&V5=11000294&S1=&S2=&S3=&S4=&S5=&CUR=840&DSP=0&PGRP=0&ABCODE=&CACHE_ID=0)

American pricing though.

Here's Australian, I believe.
