Yea i saw a preview of this game in a PS mag the other day, it looks great for a NFS game, i hope it plays more realistically. Beautiful looking though.

PS's answer to Forza?

I thought they didn`t add damage to cars cos car companies wouldn`t allow it...

NFS III was best, and Most Wanted was very good, though it never let you play the Police (I like nicking felons for some weird reason!) and had no replay. To be honest, I wouldn`t trust EA as far as I could throw it and have only cautious dabble in their games since back 10 years. They lost a true customer in me a long while ago.

Looking at the details it`s the same old story. Superfast `bling` http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif cars that race about. I find that boring. Chuck in Police, allow you to be Police sometimes and a good replay and maybe we might have something again.

I always wondered why they never could make Gran Turismo`s competitor on PC.I really miss that game sometimes.

NFS series ended with NFS V : Porsche as the last very good game from them. Why have they switched to making games that have nothing in common with real driving civil cars I don`t know.I was waiting for NFS : Ferrari , NFS: Lamborghini, etc. but they obviously think I`m better off driving idiot 'bling bling' cars that are invincible.

This one looks just as crappy as earlier parts. Even in my city I already see 17-26 year old idiots racing at night with no imagination whatsoever.

And they list the Spanish language as "Espaniol". One customer less.

I really enjoyed Most Wanted. Yes BMW M3 is my dream car but the game itself is exceptional.

Carbon is good too but I don't have time to really go into it

Carguy is right. Everything released since Posche Unleashed has been a dud (Motor City) or just low grade tripe meant to appeal to the backwards baseball cap crowd. I hate to admit it, but it's a smart business decision to market to these cretins. The market niche is bigger. They'll sell more copies of NFS: Yo Werd Up Racing X-Treme than a Porsche Unleashed II, or similar products.
