Hi everyone I have a QMB question. In the Coral Sea map I lead a squad of SBD loaded with 1000 lb bombs and all the other allied squds with Avenger's loaded with torpedoes and attack the carrier , I even turn off the enemy AA, and I havent sunk that carrier yet. Is it sinkable? I have PF Standalone 4.04. Thanks http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

take 1 F4U1C load it with 1 2000lb and 2 1000lb bombs and put a bit of a delay on them .... that does it every time

As for your setup .... you need the Avengers on Ace for enough torps to actually hit and start off at fairly low altitude<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Im so confused i feel like a hungry baby in a topless club.

or take the SBD's loading out with 1600 pounders with a 2 second delay start your run from at least 10,000 to 14,000 with a 70 degree
angle of attack and have your wing men follow in
a 4 second delay behind 3 bombs right at midships will send the Jap carrier to the bottom

Thats all some good advice. Another idea is to use the F4UD, and load up the Tiny Tim missiles. Dont let the name fool you, they arent tiny, you can sink any ship with those bad boys. You can also put a 1000 pounder in between em if you want for added upfuktedness causing capability. But I like practicing long-shots with the tinytims, you can hit ships before getting in range of their AAA guns. I just now nailed a wirblwind that was spitting nastiness at me, hit it with a tinytim, cool track, the rockets skimmed some tree tops, and one of them scored a direct hit. Whirly quiet. Fire no more, all quiet. But yea they can kill a ship too for sure, not sure if they had them during WW2 tho, but its cool to use in ths game anyway.

Use the 'Coral Sea' map. The map is 100% water, with carrier fleets north and south.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
