I was looking for pictures of Barton Aerodrome and came across something that some of you may find interesting, it is a Harvard that is owned by Gary Numan.

Harvards have been used as various Japanese aircraft for about 50 years

Yup, since there's a lack of airworthy Zeros, if I remember correctly, the Harvard is a stand-in. It kinda looks like one from afar, too, if you don't stare too hard.

Back in the late 1960's a bunch of T-6's were converted to single seat configuration and the glazing and fuselage aft of the front canopy modified to look very similar to that of the A6M Zero. These aircraft were used in the filming of the movie Tora, Tora, Tora. Here's a link.

There was an AT-6 tarted up to looked like an E Front Fw 190A at the Goleta Airport when I was going to UC Santa Barbara in the late '70's/early '80's.
