By the time I reached Mission 8 to assassinate Hochmeister Sibrand in Acre, I was exhausted... slaying 11 guards only to be detected and slaying another 10 more that come just to rescue one citizen.

And then doing it over again.

I didn't have the energy or interest to concentrate on my duties in Acre... so I took "liberties" and had a little fun.

I went up to the eastern point, near a church where the interrogation mission is, and I noted how particularly annoying the despot (I'm assuming AC calls all interrogation targets "despots") call was. He had that long unruly hair and wearing a dirty nightgown and making so much noise...

"By ohduh of Grandmastah Sibwand, all ships ahe to be confiscaited and tuhned ovuh to the Teutonic Ohduh!"

"All sailuhs ahe to repoht foh conscription into the Cwusaduh Navy!"

So I thought, to heck with locking onto the target. If I'm going to beat the daylights out of him, why not now? So in the midst of his noisemaking I ran and tackled him:

"By ohduh of Grandmastah Sibwand, all ships ahe to be confiscaited and tuhned ovuh to the Teu- WHOAH!"

And again. "AHHH!"

He ran after I paused, and I gave chase, and I noticed how the mission reset, RECREATING the original character but as long as I kept sight of the original character I could see both.

To make a long story short I had a little fun.

I wonder if I kept it up I could be tossing around dozens of copies of the despot into each other. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

If anything is certain I'm not finishing THIS mission. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

I liked going to the dock and running into people causing them to fall into the water and die.

Tossing people does strange and cool things.
I like to think of it as bowling for dollars.

I wonder if many people know this.
In the parts where guards are picking on someone. You can toss a civilian in such a way as to bowl most guards over giving you enough time to stealth kill each one.
Standard stealth kill on the 1st.
Ground stealth kill on the 2nd and 3rd.
Wait for the 4th to stand up and stealth kill him from behind.

i like throwing knives at archers on rooftops who are standing near the edge -- they choke so beautifully and slither off the wall... and then the screaming begins. the sound of it is music to my ears.

I like to sneak up on the rooftop guards, and fence them over the railing, watch them fall to the ground... and THEN the screaming begins http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

Did anyone punch any beggars, drunks or loonies in the game?

ANOTHER guilty pleasure!!!

I was so annoyed by the mental cases/drunks. You try to go past and they knock you. So I decided No More Mister Nice Guy and beat them up. You just have to be careful because one punch sends the wimps running, so you have to repeatedly hit them or hit them when chasing them. Universally, five punches does the trick.

The "thugs" in the game, burly men who wear cross bands on their shirts, annoy me at times. I usually let them get away with "For the love of God, leave me alone" but if they say anything like "Are you a friend of mine? No! So go away!" I punish them for it and beat them up as well. It is SO satisfying.

Like beating up the nightgown with the fleasy hair and white undies who cries, "By decree of Grandmaster Sibrand, all ships are to be turned over to the Teutonic Order! All sailors are to report for conscription into the navy! Failure to comply will result in imprisonment!" and throwing a copy of himself INTO himself because of a loophole in the game. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
