The company making P-51s is an American company. Not sure of the name though, sorry. Try to google it to death, you should find something.

S! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>I recall seeing a website a couple of years ago about a 3/4 scale kit-built P-51D with an engine that allowed a to-scale performance. The videos were stunning.

The word Eagle was in there somewhere...

The new Flugwerk FW-190A-8/N costs 550.000 ‚"ö¨ to be
exact. It is powered by a ASch 82T, which is a licensed Russian rebuild of the BMW-801 build in China until the 1980's. Has aprox. 2000HP

That would be equal to a BMW-801D-2 with Sondernotleistung and MW-50 injection.

Unfortunately, it has no "Kommandoger√¬§t" and thus no single throttle lever as it was IRL.

LOL, for flight performance tests (except shooting stability) sandbags of equivalent weight will do near as well provided they're "installed" in the correct locations in the airframe.

Wouldn't the sand in those shift around when the pilot performs a turn or anything like it?
