I remember somebody posting here some period cartoon strips for novice training in dogfighting, etc.

I've been unsuccessful in tracking them down with the search function and would be much obliged to anyone who could help me out with links.

Here's a couple. I think I can scrounge up a few more at home.

A lot of mine came from here: www.oldmanuals.com (http://www.oldmanuals.com)

There is the German gunnery training manual mit Fraulein and I have a Finnish one kicking around on some discs somewhere. (The Finnish one is kind of stupid. I.E. not helpful - of a comic nature whose humour value has passed.)

Any of that ring a bell?

edit Luftwaffe one here -

These are not aviation related instructional cartoons, but they are German military instructional cartoons for tanks... Panther (http://www.panther1944.de/Panther/fibel/fibel.htm) and Tiger (http://tiger1.info/fibel/) enjoy.

These and the Galland manual (see post above) are the "better known" German instructional cartoons available...
