I wanted to se how Kronshtadt looks now after fighting on that map, so I searched on Google Earth...

And looking on photos offered by "Geographic Web" option (Panoramio) on coast on the way to Kronshtadt were like watching trailer for IL-2...

Take a look especially on N 59 57 02 and E 29 25 15 (with "Geographic Web" option on...)

Leningrad is very nice too (Kronstadt is the island just west of there, looks like it's joined to the mainland with a causeway/bridge).
