View Full Version : Where Did Ezio Learn to Free-Run?

I always found it strange how a 17 year-old noble with absolutely no training to become an Assassin, who spends all of his time trying to hook up with women or go out drinking, can still scale massive structures with relative ease. Where did he learn to free-run in the beginning of AC2? Did he just always scale steeples and temples as a child? I thought he was learning to become a banker or something. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

i think his brother (federico) taught him

Which would raise the question, How did Fredrico learn?

But it was probably due to climbing and jumping since he was a child, and i'm sure Giovanni would have encouraged it, knowing what they are to become an' all.

i reckon the same place anyone who free runs did. they saw someone else do it, thought it was awesome, and had alot of freetime on their hands.

Or maybe Digital Jesus created two teenagers who could freerun, and then put them in a vidya game.

is it weirdly inherited in their DNA (fictionally of course), from their free running Eden ancestors and so forth?

How did Fredrico learn?
Federico had started his assassin training before the events of AC2.

Giovanni tought Frederico and instructed him to teach Ezio, if i remeber correctly.

UbiGabe taught him http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Edit for lulz: Hello assassin Ezio, today I'm going to be answering a question that you have about freerunning. Ezi0 asks, "will I be able to jump ungracefully on a flimsy flag to get the other other side of a street but looking totally out of moveset in the process" The answer to that question is yes, you will. You'll also do the total opposite to that by swan diving into a pile of leaves while looking really graceful http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It's a part of their ancestors DNA of TWCB.

Free running isn't a genetic trait...

The physical capability to free run can be though.

Patrice taught him

to be honest it's not that hard to believe it was self taught, when I was younger I use to jump fences (run up and over taller ones) and climb just about thing that I could get a hand grip on, so all you have to do is just not stop as you grow up.

but gaining access to ancestors memories are a genetic trait. cmon..its the fun of fiction!

Ubisoft got th name one and apparently everyone follows suit.

Free running and what our Assassin's do are two different things. Ezio and Altair do not do little flashy flips for style points.

They parkour, you know. The thing where you get from point A to B fastest.
