It seems yesterdays attempt to cooer's bumps for the needy pilots fund fell short of our goals! We see that drastic action must be taken, since some of you are.Tite? So.DOWN ON THE FLOOR.NOBODY MOVE! YOU.YEA you there in the back, been cruising here for a year and never posted!...bet you got lots a bumps.don't you! Come on give em up.HAY did I say move! DID I? What! You some kinda hero or something, what you got in those pockets! Come on.turn em out..Yea! Just what I thought.Full of bumps! Put em in there http://forums.ubi.com/messages/message_view-topic.asp?name=Olegmaddoxreadyroom&id=zuxwc As you can see the captured pilot syndrome or (C.P.S) can have an adverse effect on.some of our less fortunate citizens! Pleas help us to fight this insidious disease. Symptoms include irritability, sudden urges to fly inverted during combat, flying with gear down for extended periods of time, sudden aggressive negative G maneuvers resulting in Smoking hole! Bird watching while in combat, limp wing and the uncontrollable apatite for more bumps.ONLY YOU CAN PREVINT C.P.S

It's really a very important issue if you think about it; even CFS 3 has a % of escape! And I just can't stand the idea of M$ having something we don't! Makes me just want to hold a gun on some one, and I'm running out of pilots names!

And I'm sure this is a worthy cause too, I've barely made it out in one piece when flying over that red line on more than one occasion. I certainly could have used a suped up storch to come whisk me away.

I just had to respond to the title of the thread.

I was compelled to because you see, there has been a carjacking attempt made on me today (this night more pricesly).

I nearly pooped my pants but afterwards was kind of funny, because he (carjacker/mugger) seemed not professional so to say...

anyway, the little story goes like this; I parked on this lot a bit further from the takeaway place I just ordered food from. My plans were to eat it on that parkingplace.

just about when I was finished parking and proceeded to grab the fooditems from the bag, I noticed, in the corner of my left eye, a weird silhouette proceeding to my car at a fast pace.

when I looked, I saw this masked dude in a gray trainer with what appeared to be a gun in his hands. He was making fast and nervous gestures with his 'armed' hand but never spoke/shouted a word.

Since I knew my car was locked, I knew also he had no way to get in without forcing anything.

My reaction was somewhat instinctivly, when I noticed the threat, I immediatly turned on the engine of my car (keys were still there phew) and attempted to drive away...

It didn't work...

In the rush, I forgot to 'unlock' the handbrake, when I noticed this, I rectified the problem while trying to get another glimpse from my attacker... he was still making gestures and not saying a word.

I exchanged adrenaline for velocity and could escape the bogey (ups, bandit /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif ).

ah phew,...

feels nice sharing /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif mods can delete this if they see fit to /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
