Hi there, My name is Cole and I am currently a noob to all this "Simulation" game play. I have a clan in the Battlefield 1942 community and some of us within' the clan love PF. The realism of it caught us!

Anyways, back to my topic. I have currently a dedicated server company that hosts our current BF1942 server and I am getting them to check out to see if we can get a Ded. server for Pacific Fighter. They are currently looking into the matter.

Now lets say they have no problems doing that. Is there a "server manager(like BlackBagOps)" for these simulation games out there? If so where can I download it?

Another question which is off-topic. Any "Anti-Cheat" software out there for this game? I was engaged with a plane stickin' on his six when all of a sudden this guy just did a impossible flip and he was right behind me! Lag? Not fn likey! Just a concern. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

lol Yeah most people probably hasn't heard of a "Anti" cheat program like Punkbuster, they've been too busy trying to download the "Cheat" programs so they can brag how good they are http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Yeah that link shows me the "downloads" for the server. Got that. Looking for a "Server Manager" like Blackbagops. www.blackbagops.com (http://www.blackbagops.com) for Pacific Fighters. Just so people don't have to go into the con. file and change the files. Most new guys won't know how to do that.

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif Let me try to explain by saying this, this is not a FPS, IL-2 has never had a anti-cheat program, best you can do is set autokick tight or join a server with tight settings. warpdrive ufo's is onething we all deal with, but I know I know your special... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

You won't get much help around here with that kind of attitude.

Sorry man if you are one of those ppl who like to "deal" with cheaters. I for one like a fair game with no **** noob hackers/cheaters. I believe that there are more of you out there that want to eliminate the "ufo" turns and other **** that idiots like to use. For a person who actually paid for my game myself"not my parents" I would like to see an anti-cheat system implemented! Should be no arguement here. But there are some.....

There are enough anti-cheat measures in the configuration of the server to provide honest gameplay. Unfortunately not many take advantage of those and run servers at default ... ah well.

This will get you started on dedicated server, incuding anti-cheat measures : http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=400102&f=23110283&m=692106434

Good luck

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1241.gif I think it's about time a mod lock your post or delete it. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

My last reply, I don't do first person shooters, only flight sims, fyi, I own all the IL-2 series, to old for mommy or daddy, to buy them for me and yes I paid for them all I'm happy to say. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

No, there is nothing like black bag ops for il2 (I am half owner of www.rapidgamer.com (http://www.rapidgamer.com) and I've looked http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif ). Most you can hope for is a web control panel to start and stop the server then ftp up different config files. This will get your server up but not on hyperlobby, as far as I can tell to get it up in hyperlobby you have to start the server with the hyperlobby client.
