The strangest thing happened the other day, which really helped my gaming. This is, amazingly, a true story.

On a warm summer's evenin' on a train bound for nowhere,
I met an ACB grand master; we were both too tired to sleep.
So we took turns a starin' out the window at the darkness
'Til boredom overtook us, and he began to speak.

He said "Son, I've made my ranking, out of readin' other players.
And knowing folks from NPC's, by the way they moved around.
So if you don't mind my sayin', I can see you're stuck in cooldown.
For a taste of your whiskey I'll give you some advice."

So I handed him my bottle and he drank down my last swallow.
Then he bummed a cigarette and asked me for a light.
And the night got deathly quiet, and his face lost all expression.
Said, "If you're gonna play ACB, boy, ya gotta learn to play it right.

You got to know when to end them. Know when to blend, and, know when to run away, know when to stun. You never count your varieties, till you're sitting at the podium, there'll be time enough for counting when the match is done."

Now every templar knows that the secret to survivin'
Is knowin' when to chase break, and knowing when to mute.
'Cause everyone's pursuing and everyone's a target,
And the best that you can hope for is to die in a chase."

So when he'd finished speaking, he turned back towards the window,
Crushed out his cigarette and faded off to sleep.
And somewhere in the darkness the GM, he hit respawn.
But in his final words I found a bonus I could keep.

You got to know when to end them. Know when to blend, and. Know when to run away, know when to stun. You never count your varieties, till you're sitting at the podium, there'll be time enough for counting when the match is done.

So there you have it, hope this will help you as it did me. Also, a big shout-out to UBI for making matchmaking worse after a full day of offline fixing, without which I would never have found the time to share this with y'all.

He must be a wise man. I've found knowledge in those words.

I don't even know the original, but this was really well crafted. Blues? EDIT: COUNTRY! I feel violated!

Don't worry.

It's the only forgivable song I know in the genre.

And now we need someone to make a rock cover using these lyrics. Team 2012 would be the best bet... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
