Clouds are worse than Classic FB clouds (same old small "flight sim" size cumulus clouds).

Stars are all the same brightness (like FB stars though). Can't easily navigate by stars at night if you lose compass, the stars all look the same.

Nothing new, move along. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I'd be very disappointed if Oleg's BOB looked that bad.

Indeed, the lights are nice, but the city itself is flat as a coin. Yikes. If the normal houses looked like those towers... then.... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Looks like X-Plane a bit to me (A civilian flight-sim with terrains of much of the world) which has been available for years. I beleive it's the only sim where you can get instrument certification with as well. I had an early version long ago. A very impressive sim. No combat though. Highly recommended for civilian sim buffs, or actual civilian pilots.

You can even sim-test your own experimental planes. Or any of dozens of system failures.

Excellent helicopter simulations as well. Beat that for 60 bucks!

My father simulated the ill-destined John Kennedy flight from the Atlantic City to Martha's Vinyard. He made it even after failing his altimeter. John-John didn't...

Point-lighted urban zones are pretty cutting edge. Its the kind of thing that you'll find in mega-buck commercial sims, but never (before) in a consumer title.

You guys are funny. Fecking wierd, but funny.

That texture... awful. I hate it when sims try to pass off a low res ground texture for a city. I don't care if it has a couple of stupid lights in it. It looks terrible.

it reminds me to my FLIGHT UNLIMITED 2 days, and MS Flightsim with it's flat cities..

Eeeewww...typical M$ cr@p ground textures. Glow in the dark grass. Since when are streetlights and towns buried underground? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/354.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

Why was this a big deal on that forum?
