I use a Saitek x36 w/ USB and I'm having a problem flying/ taking off. I constantly am pulling back hard on the stick, even in mid-flight..and if i leave the stick center i go into a dive.. and forget about reachin high altitudes, the stick just wont pull back enough..and its almost impossible to take off. If anyone knows of this problem or how i can adjust it to fix it, please respond.. I calibrated and recalibrated plenty of times..i know the stick is fine.

You may have a problem with your joystick settings in game. Some of the more techy people may know what to do, as far as the numbers on this, I'm baffled too.

Maybe an elevator trim issue? Just a thought. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

one, have you calibrated it in game? ie on windows go start programme files ubisoft folder lastt window open set up, then the joystick properties then properties again and calibrate.... seems to me its a trim problem though on my x54 i have the 2 rotary switches maped on the wheels in the hotas section as elevator trim and aileron trim, i also have them on one top hat the top left one for minor tweeks............ other stupid point, have you raised the flaps after take off? as it will climb like an angel if there down.........

my in game hotas stick commands in my user config are
for my x45 they are in the user folder then the player name folder....... you can simply back up the original then alter the settings to read som similar to these to get them to work...... i have the lower top hat set so it seamlessly will scroll round any view using the mouse cursor will allow it to do it externally too, great for skinning http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.......... hope they help, also you can tweek the effectivenesss of the stick in all axis in the set up off the main offline game menu window.......... have to go to work now but will pop in see if it helped you later..

Hi,

Unplug the controller, click Start >Run, type regedit and click OK. In the Registry Editor browse to the following folders in order:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Control
MediaProperties
PrivateProperties
DirectInput

And delete the VID_06A3&PID_FF52 folder. Plug the controller back in, rotate and twist the stick fully a couple of times and see if that has fixed it. If it hasn't then are you able to test the stick on another PC to see if it does the same thing on there?
