I made a backup copy of my old Gramaphone folder befor I uninstalled SH3 to install GWX. It seems I had alot more tunes in my old folder. Just wondering if I could deleat the present folder, and copy the old folder in its place.

It's up to you to chose the content of your Gramophone folder. It won't break the game.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I don't even use the Gramophone, I just play my WinAmp Silent Hunter III Playlist, which I have close to 700 songs and news broadcasts from the 20' - 40's. And with the Hotkey feature, I can adjust the volume and change to the next song or last song, and randomize the music also.

If I get tires of listening to the same old music, I can listen to WinAmps Shoutcast Radio.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I have nirvanna, Tom Jones, Metallica, Motorhead, Mercy Drive, and other such sounds in my grammaphone.

Not exactly historically accurate, but a darn sight better than what they listned to then! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

65 years from now, people will be thinking what krap it was that we listened to. It's all relative. Still, I'd like to think that some of our music will still be appreciated in the future. Imagine people in the year 2075 listening to Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

The Beatles were IMO vastly overrated and somehwat of a ripoff of Buddy Holly and the Crickets.

There was a fine how do you do... Holly had to die before he made the big time.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I find this funny to myself, but I'm actually getting to like some the Big Band stuff, even all the Non English music(German, Russian etc), that I couldn't stand before. I even found an Internet radion station on Shoutcast Radio that plays all 20's & 30's music with the period commercials. I think SH3 has even ruined my taste for music http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I know what you mean Tuddley. I find myself humming some of those tunes out loud at work. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif For crying out loud, I know for a fact, some of those songs from Glen Miller, are the same ones my Grandfather used to hum aloud when I was a kid. Back then, I thought HE was nuts. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
