Germans were big manufacturers of sewing machinges. Most famous is the NSU works, who also made cars and motorcycles and god knows what else.

I have also seen Zundapp sewing machines, Zundapp made motorcycles and many other items for the military in WWII.

Messerschmidt made automobiles and other objects as well, postwar.

NSU, the N is Nechar, S is Sulm, the intersection of the two rivers the works was located at.

Why that? - haven't heard any striking criticism on the machines and his three wheelers have fan clubs everywhere to the date. Nope, anything old Willy did was dog's b0llocks - just another example of the work of a genius, that is http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/inlove.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
