I am Lexx_Luthier. How may I help you, Leadspitter?

for real...Superman finally got Luthier?

...somebody needs to make Oleg pic dressed in Superman outfit, and Luthier dressed as master criminal Lex Luthier. Supermaddox saved the PF in a single Patch, yes?

The "S" is for Sturmovik, of course.

Of course his fatal weakness is whine-o-mite, a lump of rock from his home planet that fatally weakens him by constantly criticising each and every aspect of everything he does or doesn't do.

The major symptom of whine-o-mite exposure is to withdraw into a new development office and avoid posting on the forums anymore.

If we're going to take this already-over-the-line analogy any further, then we need to nominate someone to play Louis Lane.

I nominate Dux Corvan http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

What we would like to read.

Hi, i know you have all been extremely worried and anxious because of my lack of communication lately and i am really flattered by how many fans i have and the deep affection expressed in the tons of letters i receive every morning.Below is an update of my activities in recent months.
I have been taking a crash course at Moscow university on the PACIFIC CONFLICT during the second world war which includes the China war ,Brittish colonialism in the Far East,A hystory of japan,Japanese,USN and allied operations from 1941 to 1945 in the Pacific.I€m really surprised by how ignorant i was! I thought i new everything after having glanced quickly at Wildcat Aces of the Pacific by Osprey last spring and i thought that my extraordinary sim was complete! No wonder you guys have been complaining.
Having said that i€m pleased to inform you that in the next patch you will be getting nothing less than the following:

Airrcraft flyable:
Jill
Devastator
Catalina with reckon feature
Betty
Nell
Claude
KI 27
George

Cockpits:
Avenger
Kate
B24

Maps:
The whole Pacific ocean from India to china down to Australia in one map.

Ships:
All Japanese and US battleships, cruisers,Carriers etc which took part in major operations during the conflict.

New Features:Warp.

Finally i€m pleased to inform you that the trademark issue is reaching a very happy ending and an agreement by the parts is beeing reached in the interest of all concerened. That means that a huge number of US planes will be included very soon.

Future plans:A new reworked pacific conflict sim for the new engine to be release just after BOB.

Your most affectionate and devoted servant
Luthier

What he would like to say:

"What a bunch of naive childish suckers americans are, thanks for the money and bye bye."

Pacific Fighters is ok but I'm pissed that it has delayed BOB indefinately. I would have liked to see PF done on the BOB engine.
That being said, I don't blame Luthier. The projects he's done have provided me with uncounted hours of enjoyment. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Huh?? BoB has definately not been delayed "indefinately". It's due to be released around Q3/4 2006.

Aminx, I've not always agreed with your hardline stance on some issues but I have to say I can see where you are coming from on this post.

Despite some folks trying to cover for Luthier... the guy has been more than conspicuous by his absense.

Regards, Goshikisen.

It was due to be released around the Q1/2 2005. They probably have very few people working on BOB at this time because of all work required to complete PF. Your date if probably close if they can get the manpower back on BOB's production. My point is that we would probably be flying BOB this year if it weren't for PF. I have not seen your date posted...do you have a link.
