you should turn on the cockpit, its left next to the revi. if not you have to count your shots manually. good luck & have fun http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Go to Mudmover's website and check out the cockpit's with all the descriptions of the knobs, instruments and indicators. I think only the german planes have a counter (like Pimpo says) left of the Revi= three columns filled with grey that drops lower and lower until no more ammo.

With practice (especially if you stick with one plane) you'll get a "feel" for how much ammo you've spent and have less.
To help get this "feel" here's what I suggest: at the end of each mission, after landing, empty your guns and cannon and count the seconds of ammo remaining- that's what I do and it helps me /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

They didn't have ammo counters in the VVS planes.

Since the ammo is finite (and the same for each model), simply leave a plane parked with the brakes on and fire, timing it (fortunately, stoppage isn't modeled).

Pretty soon you'll get the hang of how much ammo you have left based on how long you've been firing, especially if you take the number of seconds for the guns and divide by two, as most times you'll be firing two second bursts (or shorter).
