If you haven't already, and would like to make Windows starts/shut downs a little more interesting than a few 'electronic' tones, consider using these.I went with radial.

Yep, I too like the sound of a BIG radial startup.
That said, how do you change your windows startup sound?

Go to Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices. On the "Sounds" tab, you can browse for whatever sound you want to substitute for various Windows events.

Not a prob.,my pleasure.

Forgot to mention in the OP,the fly-bys make cool shut down sounds, kinda the "I'm outta here" effect.I use the radial there too,the second one.I guess I should have labeled them for you folks convenience. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Sorry to bring an old post back, but,I noticed the webmaster of the 'Alexis Park Inn' site is requesting new material, and some of you say you've found for instance,Me-109,and P-38 sound effects.

Well,do us all a favor and share them.Send them to the webmaster of Alexis Park Inn,audio,video...;give him anything you're willing to share.

contact: AlexisParkInn@mchsi.com

Come on,don't hold back, share the "goods".Probably 75% of the people on this forum, have at least, enjoyed 'something' from the site.If you have stuff stored,or know where good stuff is;give the info. to a site that's always ready to spread it.
